4th of July!

The freedom festival in Provo can't be beat! I'm so grateful for the freedoms we enjoy in this country.
My mom, Mike and I took Gwen to the parade. She loved it this year! She danced and clapped as the floats came by.

We all decided to do the freedom run. It was a blast! I've never been much of a runner, but my mom motivated all of us to come. Mike pushed Gwen in the stroller and practically sprinted the whole race. I lost track of everyone when I parked and had to run it alone. I didn't mind once I got to the parade route, because everyone was cheering us on. It was a great work out! I will be a little sore tomorrow.

Sunday evening we parked at Bridal Veil Falls and walked to Vivian park with my mom's side of the family. Gwen didn't want to ride in her stroller very long, so grandpa Hammond threw rocks with her and she ran along side us as we walked. I am loving these warm summer nights!

It's tradition to go to Stadium of Fire. I am not a country fan, but I must say Brad Paisley was amazing! Gwen was an angel and sat through the whole program. My sweet parents got her lots of treats which definitely helped. She lasted mid way through the firework show and was out.

Scootering to the stadium is the way to go. Chase and Mike got there in no time!

Chase and David were insistent about buzzing each other's heads before they took off to Powell on Sunday. It's their divers do. David had so much hair it was unreal. I am always hesitant about letting Chase buzz his hair, but I think he still looks handsome no matter what. Hair always grows right?

Gwen can't wait to join her daddy in Lake Powell tomorrow!
