La Jolla!

My sweet parents took us to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend. It's definitely one of our favorite vacation destinations. I love that it's only an hour and a half plane flight and you are at the beach.

Gwen has no fear of the water. She counts "one, two," and before she gets to three has jumped in the water.

The first morning we got there we woke up and went to check out the swell at wind and sea. It was beautiful! We climbed on rocks, dug up sand crabs, and watched the surfers.

My dad's parents Grammy and Pop joined us for a few days. They are always up for everything and are great company to have around. I love them!

The ocean breeze can get chilly in San Diego, so we enjoyed warming up in the hot tub.

A yummy yogurt shop was just down the street from our hotel. We went several times. Tropical banana was Gwen's fav!

Gwen has a special place in her heart for my mom. She wants to be with her every moment.

The boys were really into golfing this trip. Chase and Mike were the champs!

Gwen and Mikey are best buds! I'd have to say out of all my brothers he has the most patience with little kids.

Chase and I loved jogging Gwen down the beach in the morning. I'm not much of a runner, but I'm telling you it is so easy to run at sea level. I could breathe!

We ate breakfast at a quaint cafe right on the ocean. It was delicious!

We went to Mission Beach to surf the flow rider. David and Tanner are getting so good. Some Pros were their doing flips and 720's. It was very fun to watch!
