We took Gwen to Powell for her first time. We went with my parents and spent 4 days in the slip on the houseboat. The water was still pretty cold. So instead of doing lots of water sports, we laid out, biked, jet skied, and watched movies. It was warm weather and so relaxing. My parent's spoiled us!

We were eating dinner and I looked over to see Gwen eating a huge hunk of bread. She makes me laugh!

I had to keep a close eye on her. She is an explorer. She started crawling for the first time at Powell.
We took Gwen on a little jet ski adventure. We wanted to find a fun canyon where we could hike around. The winds started picking up and the water got really choppy. Gwen was a little unsure at first and then really started enjoying it. On our way back I looked down and she had fallen asleep. She's a sport!

Some of my greatest childhood memories have been at Powell. It's fun to carry on the tradition with my little girl.

ReplyDeleteSo funny you said that because I have been thinking we should hang out too! I saw your father-in-law at Advance Insurance yesterday. We're going to Lake Powell this weekend but I will call you next week. Can't wait to see Gwen, she has gotten so big since the last time we saw her in person!
